RONCOFFERJR

Early Life

Ronald Lee Coffer, Jr. was born on July 2, 1972 in Greensboro, North Carolina to Ronald Lee Coffer, Sr. and Donna Faye Coffer. After giving his life to Christ at a crusade when he was 12 years old, Ron Jr. became immersed in international missions only a few years later. During a mission trip to Central America, his father felt a call of God on the family. Shortly after returning to the United States, Ron Sr. and Donna Coffer made the decision to become fulltime ministers of the Gospel in Central America.

When Ron Jr. was 14 years old, he and his family moved to San José, Costa Rica where they studied Spanish at the Spanish Language Institute for a year. The Coffers then moved to Guatemala where they engaged in a vigorous campaign of evangelism and ministry to the Mayas of El Quiché and the natives around Antigua, Sacatepéquez. In 1998, after spending over a decade in Guatemala, Ron and Donna Coffer left their son behind in Guatemala and moved to Managua, Nicaragua where they continued their ministry until 2008.

Present Day

In September 1993, Ron Jr. married Nohemí “Mimy” Rosales. Ron Jr. and Mimy currently live in Antigua, and stay very busy with their two teenagers, Stephanie and Garland. In July 2008, Ron Jr. was appointed as director of Ministries of HIS Glory International, which maintains relations with affiliated congregations in Guatemala, El Salvador, and Colombia. Ron and Mimy currently serve as senior pastors of the Cathedral of His Glory in Antigua, Guatemala. The church continues growing as a viable spiritual institution for worshiping God and training new leaders within the community. Ron Jr. and Mimy are both ordained by the Cathedral of HIS Glory in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Luke 6:38 (NKJV) Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Jesus said these words and He always spoke the truth and cannot lie! I want to take a close look then at what Jesus said and the part I want to examine is the word “it.”  “IT,”  “I-T!” It what? What does “it” mean here?  “Itis the substance of what you will receive flowing back into your life.  According to the Apostle Paul “whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Gal. 6:7).

The big question now is, “What are you sowing?”  The type of seed you sow will determine the type of harvest you receive.  If you need more time, sow time; if you need more friends, sow friendship; and if you need more money – sow money!  If you don’t like the harvest, change the seed!

The outcome of a harvest you do not like is not God’s faultIt is your responsibility to sow proper seed and to plant for a desired result.  When you plant some kind of seed into the ground, God multiplies that seed sown.  He doesn’t plant or choose the seed – He simply multiplies what we put there.  It’s God’s job to produce the miracle that causes the seed to grow and multiply.  Remember that God does not multiply seed that is never sown.

Now this is simple but it is not easy.  The farmer has to believe in the harvest; he has to commit the seed to the ground and let go of it believing in the Lord of the harvest and that takes trust and faithSatan will do every thing he can to keep the Christian from givingWhyBecause God gave everything on Earth to mankind including the gold, silver and precious stones (Genesis 2:11-12) and Satan does not want Christians to get it back! Malachi 3:10-11 states, “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the LORD of hosts; and all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land,” Says the LORD of hosts.

No wonder Satan works so hard to keep Christians from tithing and giving.  He loses his goods – stolen from us in the first place.  He gets rebuked and we get blessed!

When Christians wake up and recognize that it is Satan who is lying to us and telling us that in giving to the Lord and His church we lose, and Jesus is telling us the truth that God’s program of seedtime and harvest is God’s method to get something to us, we will  become “cheerful givers “(II Cor. 9:7).

We need to grow up and recognize that the farmer cannot plant occasionally but has to sow and keep on sowing in order to reap and keep on reaping and Christians need to give and keep on giving in order to tap into God’s abundant supply that will meet all of our needs for every area of our life.
